What to bring
What to bring to your Newborn Session
Pack and Prepare Tips:
1. If you are able give baby a gentle bath before session
2. Dress baby in something that is easy to take off and does not go over the head
3. We recommend feeding before you come so baby is sleepy
(However more often then not we have feedings during the session,
So bring extra formula or plan to nurse while your here)
4. Fully Stocked Diaper bag extra diapers and wipes, burp clothes, pacifier etc.
5. If you have other children coming with you we do have a play/snack area in the studio
but just in case you may want to bring a few toys/juice etc.
6. If you plan on doing family/sibling/grandparent photos we will try to get those done first.
We recommend a 90-120 min session if you want to do family, sibling and a full newborn set
(If you can bring dad or a grandparent/friend along. So when siblings get tired and bored they can go for a walk in the nearby park or walk to some of the great shops we have downtown)
7. We have lots of wraps, headbands and blankets
But we love a personal touch so consider:
-Handmade outfit
-Handmade blanket or quilt
-Something that was yours as a child
-A lovey
-Mom or Dad hobby gear
-Mom or Dad career gear
-Fandom Gear (Star Wars/Harry potter/ Star Trek)
-Something with babies name
8. Make yourself comfortable, kick your shoes off and stay a while we have water/soda/snacks available
